Premium Joomla Templates
Navigation and Left Sidebar problems.
Hello. I recently downloaded the Neutrino template. I hoped to transfer my Menu items from the Joomla built-in default template to the Neutrino template. I was not able to get the drop down function to work and it looks very bad at the moment.
In the Main Menu module I did verify that my Main Menu module has "Position" set to nav, "Show Title" set to hide, "Show Sub-menu Items" set to yes, and "Menu Tag ID" set to to hnav.
I have about 7 menu items I want to move to the Navigation Menu. One menu is Branch Office. I want to use Branch Office in the Navigation module, use the drop-down to display the Office names, and then click on the specific office name to be able to use the Left Sidebar to display sub-menus. If I can figure out the first branch office, I should be able to fix the rest of the Navigation menus.
Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you.

I wanted to add some additional information and a screen shot.
The Main Menu is listed in the Navigation position. It does not use the drop-down function. I am not sure why, but would like it to use the drop-down function for the site administrator, about us, and log out items.
There is a Branch Office menu that appears. This should actually be a sub-menu of its own, but the drop-down function works well enough to be able to describe one of my problems. The Branch Office menu does use the drop-down menu. It initially works well. The bottom branch, West Chester, contains additional drop-down items. I do not want them listed as drop-down items. I want to be able to click on the West Chester branch, and then have additional sub-menus appear in the left position. Once the West Chester sub-menu items appear on the left side position, I want to be able to click on an item, and it will display in the Content position. I do have separate modules for those items such as Sales and Marketing.
I hope that you understand what I am trying to do with the template and with Joomla. A screen shot is attached. -
For starters, it looks like the drop-down menu is behaving as expected. I think I understand what you're trying to achieve here, however, most of this is directly related to how you structure your menus within joomla and not really a bug or defect with the template itself.
You should also google/read up on "split menus" - that is the name for the implementation that you're trying to achieve - though I've personally not tested this on neutrino.

I was not aware that what I was trying to do was a split menu. I knew I was having difficulty with my Joomla built-in template, and noticed that Neutrino had the drop-down menu I was looking for to help with that aspect. I will go to the Joomla forums and get some more information there. I will check back here if I find any new information.
